Hi, I’m Franki
I’m a Specialist Registered Dietitian (M(Nutr), RD) with over 5 years’ experience working in NHS specialist eating disorder services.
But my work isn’t just about nutrition - it’s about helping people rebuild a relationship with food that feels calmer, more flexible and less overwhelming.
For many of the people I support, food has become something that takes up far too much space in their life. Whether that’s due to an eating disorder, long-term dieting, binge eating, or the challenges that can come with ADHD, autism, OCD or other neurodivergence, it can feel exhausting trying to manage it all alone.
My role is to help make these challenges feel more manageable, because life is too short to feel controlled by food.
I combine specialist clinical training with a compassionate, neurodiversity-informed approach, shaped by both professional experience and my own understanding of how complex food and body experiences can be.
Why I do this work
Many years ago, I found myself caught in the same thoughts and behaviours that many of my clients describe today.
I believed that becoming healthier, happier and more worthy meant becoming thinner, eating less, exercising more and following increasingly restrictive food rules. What started as a desire to be "healthy" gradually developed into a difficult relationship with food, exercise and my body.
I experienced body dysmorphia and became trapped in cycles of restrictive dieting, rigid "clean eating", binge eating and over-exercising. Although these behaviours often looked "healthy" from the outside, they affected my relationships, my confidence, my energy, and my ability to enjoy and compete in the sport I loved.
Recovery completely changed my understanding of what health really means. I also came to understand how my ADHD had influenced many of my experiences with food, exercise and body image, reinforcing my belief that there is no one "right" way to eat.
Today, I know that true health isn't about perfection or control. It's about nourishment, freedom, flexibility and having the space to live a life that isn't ruled by food. It's about finding an approach that works with your brain, not against it.
How I can help
Recovery isn't about following another set of rules. It's about understanding you.
As both a clinician and someone with lived experience, I know there is no single "right" way to eat.
Together we'll work to:
Reduce anxiety around food.
Challenge unhelpful food rules.
Rebuild trust in your body.
Develop flexible eating habits.
Improve your physical health without sacrificing your mental wellbeing.
Find an approach that genuinely works for your lifestyle.
Help you build your understanding of nutrition.
Make sense of the confusing nutrition advice you see online.
My philosophy
I believe everyone deserves a peaceful relationship with food.
Health isn't measured by how "perfectly" you eat. It's about having enough freedom to enjoy meals, trust your body, meet your nutritional needs and live a life that isn't controlled by food.
Recovery is possible - and you don't have to do it alone.

My Core Values:
Specialist Support
Anyone recovering from an eating disorder or disordered eating, navigating eating challenges or wanting a healthier relationship with food deserves expert support from a qualified Specialist Dietitian.
You Don’t Need a Diagnosis To Deserve Help
Eating difficulties can harm health from the beginning. I help people across the full spectrum, from early struggles to those who have experienced eating disorder/s for years.
I Care
Having overcome my own disordered eating, I understand how deeply it can affect your life, relationships, and wellbeing. I’m passionate about helping you find freedom with food and feel more at ease in your body.
Health First
A difficult relationship with food can hold you back from living fully. My approach is grounded in evidence-based nutrition, ensuring your health and wellbeing is always the priority.
Neuro-affirmative Support
As someone with ADHD, I draw on both lived and clinical experience and recognise that there is no one “right” way to eat. I support you to find an approach that works for you.
De-normalising Disordered Eating
Diet culture “norms” in society often disguise disordered eating as “normal”, or demonise harmless eating differences. I help you unlearn these messages and build a genuinely healthy, sustainable relationship with food.
Empowerment
My aim is to help you feel confident and capable in your choices around food. Together, we’ll build the knowledge, skills, and trust you need to maintain a positive relationship with food long after our work together ends.
